This private house embrace a modern tropical aesthetic that is deeply connected to the essence of bali. Throughout the construction, traditional elements such as local stone and wood were meticulously incorporated into the design, lending an authentic touch to the overall structure. The house feature an open floor plan that seamlessly blends the indoor and outdoor space. Large glass sliding doors bring in ample natural light and allow for uninterrupted views of the lush surrounding landscape. The use of traditional materials is evident in the exterior of the house, with the walls adorned with locally sourced stone that adds a rustic charm. The roof is made of intricately wood sirap, a traditional roofing material commonly found in Balinese architecture. This is not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also provides natural insulation to keep the house cool in the tropical climate. Inside, the house is characterized by a minimalist design that focuses on clean lines and an uncluttered aesthetic. The furniture is carefully selected to complement the space, with woven rattan, and teak wood pieces adding warmth and texture to the rooms. Overall, this private house encapsulates the essence of Bali through its modern tropical aesthetic and meticulous incorporation of traditional elements.
